Dancing Parents

I'm not sure why the parents were dancing at this children's dance school.

The bit that got my attention was the requirement to put food in the bin!

Dangerous Bike

I found this sign in Big W at Centro Bankstown in Sydney.

Apparently the exercise bike is so dangerous that you shouldn't use it in the shop, where there are other people around including staff trained in first aid.

They do think you should buy one and take it home and brave the danger there, possibly when no-one else is around to pull you wounded body from the wreckage.

Quiet Emergency

I visited a customer's office recently to help with some Capacity Planning.

This set of signs was on their Fire Escape. You would really hate it if your Emergency got noisy, wouldn't you?

Thank Goodness

I recently visited a primary school, the classroom I went to was Kinder Yellow. Kinder Yellow didn't want any lunch from the canteen that day, which is not quite what I read on the sign on the door.

Reproduction Room

This is the sign from a door in an Australian Army base in Sydney.

What goes on in there? I'll leave that up to your imagination.

Alpaca Parking

I did not expect to find parking for my Alpaca at Mount Tambourine in the Gold Coast hinterland in Queensland.

I found this sign on the way back to our hotel from Tambourine National Park.

Low in Salt

This photo was taken at Woolworths in Menai in Sydney. The product is a tub of blueberries - an entirely natural product, apart from the tub - and it turns out, they are low in salt.

Lock Your Car

This one's from Centro Bankstown (a shopping centre in Sydney).

The words say "Lock your car", but the pictogram says don't.

Ferris Wheel

I took this one at Luna Park in Sydney. The Ferris Wheel has this sign attached to it. The maths is just mind boggling. No more than six people in the car.... unless the 6 people are adults, in which case the maximum is four. Clear? Well it turns out that two children can substitute for one adult. So four adults equals eight children? In summary 6=4=8.

No Swimming

This picture was taken in Standley Chasm, in the Australian Outback, somewhere near Alice Springs.

It is perhaps the worlds least necessary "No Swimming" sign (note the very dry riverbed in the background).
